International Scientific School-Conference on Acoustophysics named after Academician A.R. Mkrtchyan is intended for young scientists and is held annually. It was first organized on June 6–10, 2022 in the city of Sevan and aroused wide interest in the international scientific community of physicists and young scientists involved in acoustics. During the activities of the scientific school-conference, young scientists and students get acquainted with the rapidly developing areas of acoustic physics, gain experience in conducting scientific discussions and reports, and also get acquainted with applied developments implemented at the institute and other scientific organizations of the Republic of Armenia. The school–conference promotes the creation of new international and national collaborations in the field of science and education, and also encourages young scientists to engage in science.

The II International Scientific School-Conference was held in Yerevan and Sevan on June 12–17, 2023. The proceedings of the school–conference was published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (volume 2657, 2023).

Subsequently, the proceedings of all future international scientific schools–conferences on acoustophysics named after Academician A.R. Mkrtchyan will also be published in prestigious scientific journals.
