TL, Influence of Polarization and Size Effects on Photoionization of Impurities in CdSe Nanoplatelets

Specialist in the field of physics of semiconductors and low-dimensional systems. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (2005), Professor (2010). Head of the Laboratory of Physics of Nano- and Mesostructures of the Institute of Applied Problems of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

In 1994, he graduated with honors from the Physics Department of Yerevan State University. PhD in physics (1997) YSU Doctor of Science (Habilitation) 2005 YSU. In 1997-2002 – research fellow, since 2002 – senior research fellow in the Department of Solid State Physics of YSU. Since 2006, Since 2015, Professor at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.   Main research areas: theoretical study of optical, Coulomb, spin and statistical characteristics of semiconductor quantum dots and nanoplatelets. Popularization of physics. Member of the editorial board of the Journal of Contemporary Physics (Springer). Author of more than 130 publications and scientific supervisor of 10 PhD students.
