Alexey Gogolev, PhD, University degree (Tomsk), the Vice-Rector for Science and Technology at Tomsk Polytechnic University. His research interests span a wide range of topics, including X-ray tomography, PET, SPECT, radiography, spectroscopy, spectrometry, data acquisition and processing, as well as the analysis of large-scale and streaming data. He is also involved in high-energy physics, beam diagnostics, synchrotron, and neutron research. Dr. Gogolev has led the development and transition to mass production of a series of research-grade microtomography systems. Currently, he is leading the development of the “Microfocus” synchrotron station for the new SKIF synchrotron source in Novosibirsk, Russia.
