Alexander Potylitsyn, DrSc (Tomsk), Professor of Tomsk Polytechnic University. He led a specialized laboratory at the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Tomsk from 1980 to 1996 and served as the head of the Department of Applied Physics at Tomsk Polytechnic University from 1996 to 2014. Dr. Potylitsyn is the founder and permanent co-chairman of the Organizing Committee for the series of International Symposia on Radiation of Relativistic Electrons in Periodic Structures. He also served as Vice-President of the International Radiation Physics Society for the Commonwealth of Independent States from 2009 to 2012. Throughout his career, he has supervised to approximately 30 PhD and DrSc degree holders.
