Prof. Abdelmoneim is a full Professor of Medical Physics, Radiology and Medical Imaging Department, Prince Sattam bin Abdulziz University, Saudi Arabia. He is a consultant medical physicist in Saudi Arabia and Sudan. He obtained Ph.D. in Medical Physics, at Faculty of Medicine, University of Thessaly, Greece. Prof. Abdelmoneim Sulieman got many international and national awards; the Third World Academy of Science, Italy, Award in 2011 for Young African Scientist, and a Research Award from “4 th Radiographyeres Conference, Kenya (RASCO 2010), Nivasha, 2009 for outstanding presentation and Award of Sudan University of Science and Technology of the best researcher,2009, Best research award, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. His research focuses on the radiation dosimetry in medicine and radiation protection. He has over 324 publications in international journals and over 95 abstracts presented in international and regional conferences. He supervised 32 M.Sc Students and 12 PhD students in the field of Medical Physics. He is a senior associate at the International Center for theoretical physics (ICTP), Italy and served as an expert with the International Atomic Energy Commission (IAEA).

Contribute to maintaining and improving the quality, safety and cost-effectiveness of healthcare services.
Basically I involved in
- Teach Medical Physics and Radiological Sciences for undergraduate and graduate Students
- Supervision of graduate and undergraduate research projects
- Equipment specification, selection, acceptance testing, commissioning, quality assurance/control.
- Optimised clinical use of medical radiological devices and regarding patient risks from ionising radiations for patient and staff for controlled and uncontrolled radiation exposures.
- Develop a research based on clinical problems to provide evidence based practice in the field of biomedical research
- Create a culture of innovation and inspire the students to carry out a challenging research.
